Black presence
Black presence
is there
That means we’re
Already been around
It’s just that we’ve
Been ignored…..
People of the other races
Has ignored their
Parents for decades
For centuries
For years
Cos of bloodlines
Cos of government eraser
Cos of we remove ourselves from the
Distance…
Racism has taught us to
Hate black…. We were told
Black is not good…..
It was a lie….
The truth is
melanin gets richer from the sun
And how our bodies illuminates
Like gold….
We’re beautiful
Look at our hair
So curly…skin so poppin
Eyes noses
They’re perfection
We’re wise
We’re on beat
We sing
We know how to cook
Filled with warm…
We create art,
We speak poetry
We invented music….
So tell me
Why do you wanna erase us
When other races have envied us the whole time?
If we don’t do what they say
They fight us…
So you wanna disrespect your parents?
Think about it?
Cos all the people of different backgrounds
Came from us….
Black people….
I’m talkin to you, too
White folks
Don’t ever think your white privilege
Exempt y’all…
Be uncomfortable
For once in your life
Black presence
Has always been around
And well hidden
Extremely ignored
When it’s in your dna
All up in your genes….
The funniest part is
When everybody on this earth
Can’t get us out of their minds…
Literally we pay rent free on their brains
Not the houses we live in…
Ain’t that somethin?
Y’all love us
But hate us
Cos y’all
Wanna
Be like us
Like
We’re the standard
On this planet
We make everythin spicy
And magical
And y’all wanna steal
And copy
Make profits
Y’all still act like
We ain’t humans
Yet y’all came from
The blackest womb….
Even from the black sperm….
Let me tell you
Y’all hold black presence
To your hearts behind
Close doors like a lifeline…y’all worship
Us, y’all constantly control
Us every possible way…
If you tried your best
To live without us on
Our mama earth,
You wouldn’t last long
To know what you do with
Yourselves…
I remember friends who hung out
With a lot of black people
They picked up our slang
I dated an Asian
He thought he was a black man
And he loves black women….
Every race worship black
They fell in love with African
Even though they mock us….
They will do their best to
Whiteout us, however
Our influence spreads
Like countless wildfires….
I have seen black presence
In their plagiarism….
I have seen us in each thing
They do….
Like
We’re their lifeline…
And we’re not….
It’s why they’re always in
Our business…
They never want us
To unite….
They want divide and conquer
And take our culture….
Our culture is us….
Honestly
Y’all
People of
Different backgrounds
Can’t live without
Us….
Y’all know deep down
We’re the original
The first…
The educational system
Will never teach
The info in the classroom
Not even on black history month…
You may think
I’m a racist
And hateful
I don’t give a damn
Black presence
Has always been here
Inside you
And the outside you…
Africa
Is our birth home
We got the same mama
Even the same papa
They’re black
When I first saw indigenous people
With dark skin
It just clicked
Instantly
Black people of their homelands
Are everywhere
Which means they’re first….
I never thought
About European
Was the first…
I never see a white person
Being native to the islands…
It was always a black human
Walkin livin peacefully….
I didn’t picture
White folks
Being the first ones who
Stroll around the grass
The sand….
It was us….
Don’t forget that….
We’re the real life artifacts
And too many of us don’t know that….
We’re the black presence
In everybody
Whether they deny or nor
We’re everywhere
Even in Antarctica…
Don’t be fooled
Don’t fall for their whitewashin black history…
I suggest you read
Maybe watch educational videos
Or you can speak to elders
You can travel
And learn about black presence…
They still try to erase
Us but we’re breathin
See our air….
We’re still in everybody’s face
So we can’t dismiss us completely…
We see us in the way everybody do things..
