At every corner….

I wonder why he’s lonely…

Well maybe he broke your heart too 

And you walked away…

Did the right thing….

Did the walls respond?

Did they catch his tears?

Did they listen?

I mean those walls

Hold your absences 

He misses you 

You were like, “fuck him!”

I don’t blame you 

He was trashed….

What did they say?

No answer to his shame?

He bows his head 

and thinks everythin isn’t goin

Cos he broke somethin in you

He cracked your soul into a thousand pieces…

He doesn’t know how to love, 

Doesn’t know what to do with you…

You ignored him

Yet he’s still reachin you 

He wanted to apologize 

But it was too late….

So he said sorry to these walls now…

He practiced that word too many times 

Just in case he sees you…

You’re invisible….

You don’t wanna be found…

Like friends, 

Standin around him 

As he expects them to speak 

Searchin for advice to win you back…

You’re not this city, 

Not in this town 

Nowhere near

You’re farther away 

Livin your best life 

And he’s by himself…

Desperation was like don’t give up 

And you’re married 

A baby on the way…

You blocked him in all 

Social platforms….

Still,

He talks to the walls,

Walls have a way of stillness 

Of boredom…

A voice of unkind peace 

That fills his chest…

You have your closure…

You never need to see him 

Ever again….

And yet he still wants to see you…

Instead of tellin the whole room

About your heartache…
