ode to the beat poets

ode to the beat poets

their poetry moved me
to another place where i have welcome myself
to open the poet's brain and be very inspired

yet they capture my attention
while poems weeping to the beautiful sounds to
          my ears
like 100 sweet whispers

some of them are funny
some of them are depress
but

i heard the voices on to book pages
     saying what they are feeling
               in their own ancient souls

oh ode to the beat poets

as i read their poetry
     i just knew some of them remind me of
my own poetry

from the 50's or 60's
i could go back  and listen to their words
     on their cafe stage

so i could  flow and dance
to their own poems
     their own musical poems
