Kai’s Rose
I created a
rose by writing a single sweet poem
that speaks of sun that flashing
over the words like shadows
painting a pink petals of faith
blooms open for hopes & dreams
a symbol of my soul my poetry
growing one green stem with dozen leaves
standing along the morning grass
sways to the right, dancing to the left
only in the summer clear breeze—
this is my rose
it will grow ancient with me
oh it will die into flesh of my bony small hands
