Today I might write a poem

Today I might write a poem               11.8.2006

Today I might write a poem
Give the haiku a little break
But so many ideas  have filled up my head
And I don’t know where to start

My heart’s slowly overcastting a drum
Inside me when I wrote a sweet thought down
Yet wide smiles go across my face
Wondering

The cloudy skies crowded me as
Just by looking at them
No morning sunshine glowing
In every room of  my house

So in the meantime
I’ll write a poem
In an hour or maybe later

For now
I’m sitting here
In brainstorming some
Poetic verses on a
Document paper
