Today is my lazy Sunday. This means I don’t feel like doing anything. I just want to relax and enjoy the sun that is beaming over me. But somehow I really want to sleep so I could have lots of energy for tomorrow. Instead, I am working on my poetry writing and reading poetry online. I supposed to be editing my unpublished poetry book. Yet, I only hope it will be my last draft book. I am not trying to be lazy, but I honestly am lazy. Besides, I needed to write today. I needed to express my thoughts. Ever since I started working, I have found a free time and a way to write. Most times I don’t get to write like I wanted to, because there is so much stuff going on. Plus, I am in a room filled with a lot of noises. Sometimes I cannot hear myself in my head. Though I tried to remember what I am going to write. I usually manage my unwritten thoughts through loud voices. During the weekends and week day mornings, I wrote too much poetry as much as I can. Then afternoons and evenings, it depends. As for my lazy Sunday, I have a lot of time to write and read. But right now, I need to rest and get ready for tomorrow.

rest in peace

on a lazy Sunday

my thought are pouring

down on paper

like rain

Do I ever understand this one! It's hard to write at work, even during break time, isn't it? All that distraction.

And I'm having a pretty lazy day here myself, also. NO, I still didn't do those interview questions, but don't tell Nick. :)

Kai, we all have days like this. Some times our spirit needs us to be still and let it do its work. That's what I figure.

I like your short poem building on your feeling. Nice!

My summer vacations started and I slept all day long today. This feeling of indolence is needed sometimes.

Here in the UK we call these ''duvet days''. We grab our bed covers and ''chill out''. Well the lucky few do. Maybe one day I will have a ''duvet day'' all to myself.
I hope you enjoyed the rest.
