the wind blows far upon the river 2007-08-05

the wind blows far upon the river

into the ocean

as i hear your voice just coming from

a thousand, thousand miles

when i look up at the pinkest sky

i see you

the evening sun warms my complexion

like the way you touch me

but it’s all over in my head

i close my eyes

seeing you swim in darkness

of my heart

where tears that i cried

so broken

as the words you say

in the wind

and the wind blows far upon the river

it swiftly waves down to the shore

where the moon guides my spirit

to you

like evening sun guides yours

to me

when the wind blows far upon the river

we only see each other

with the day turns to darkest night

I like this poem a great deal, Kai. One of your best, in my humble opinion.
