September 30^th

on that day

i was born

and alive

after 23 years from now

i find myself

getting older and older

like the adult of a butterfly

but with grey braids

and wrinkle brown skin

yet i look young

too young

just like my mother

she’s younger

than i

and i’m older than the sun

so on this day

my Libra awakes

she balances me

knowing my soul tells a

fairy tale

when i wrote poetry

on her hands

as she read

she grows my wings

and let me fly

blowing all the candles in

the wind

but i don’t have a wish

until this very day

i would have knights and mermaids

coming to join me

as one
