this written black song

this written black song

i wrote today

this black song

you sing for our slaves, our women

back in the day

when we didn't have freedom

no sunshine

and still today,

we written our black song

inside our hearts

while walking on bare feet

with the blues are sung by

passing larks

as they sing their black song too......

cos at some point in time,

we are not free

not freeing ourselves in words

we don't speak

don't express our emotions

the pain is our cage

we just locked up in it

and we may never fly

until the simple sunny smile is

losing us up with

the black song is turning into

our positive thinkings

our own sunshines in everyday and

each night........i

I love the repetition in this poem! I haven't visited in a while and I love what I see.
