she made a blue skirt
with painted flowers
and pretty designs
looking dashing
pure classy
like miss grown woman
in highest heels
walking
down the city
where she models
fashionably showing off
though she’s just a little girl
playing dress up
in her new blue skirt
she made
she sewed
and simply painted
her little designs
after that,
she pose and
pose as a supermodel
in each photograph
yet,
she’s
fabulous…..

I can relate to this, playing dress
up, so proud of my new creation,
in fact I still adore playing dress up.

Very nice poem. I feel ya sista! Reminds me of being a little girl; Life moves so fast before we know it we're no longer girls. But we all should have a little girl within us; especially in our heart. I can feel the little girl in you dearest. Love your blog . . . so real and honest. Peace, Light and Love to you and yours. . . . CordieB.
