Why I enjoy readin a book 

Or pick up a book? 

Cos I can open my mind 

To a lot of things…sometimes 

I look up words and their meanings…

I’m watchin a movie in my head 

That’s what books do….

You’re watchin a film inside 

Your brain…no tv, no radio 

It’s the peace you hear 

In your imagination 

And the pages of beautiful stories 

Have you Travelin somewhere….

Authors make you feel, 

Authors make you see the humanness 

In characters….

Authors speak the truth no matter how difficult 

Not to listen…

I started to read again…

I started to get back to readin 

Cos I was on YouTube way too much…

I gotta exercise my brain…

I’m still writin….

Readin helps with your writin…

It makes my poems become its own life lessons…

To all the readers 

Out there, 

Keep readin 

Keep your films in your head…

Cos that’s where the real magic is at…

Plus books are too better than the movies 

The books give more descriptions and 

Beautiful details…

So read, I encourage you to read

Especially when you’re a writer….
