Cos in their eyes

When you defend black people

You either get asked what about other races

Or you get killed….

When I defend black people online,

I get ignorant comments 

Like they’re racists, too…

Nowadays we get called ableist 

Cos of a famous white guy with Tourette’s 

Say nigger at two black men on stage…

Nobody checked him….

Nobody tells him to go up to them

And apologized for the harm….

This is why people can’t hide 

Yourselves behind a disability….

You tell black people 

To get over it

Like we ain’t allowed to 

Have emotions….

Somehow we’re livin 

With white supremacy 

We’re not allowed to 

Defend black people

As they are persons….

and only it’s a clout…

Right?

Money?

I defend black people….

It’s not panderin

It’s not an attention….

Are the realest people 

On earth and I’m black….

I will stand up 

For my race….

The ones who care

Wrong with us…

Cos I love us….

I love my blackness 

I wanna help us 

I wanna give them

What about the brown people?

What about the Chinese people 

Or native Americans?

Honey, can I be selfish with my own people?

Why can’t I be selfish?

White man sticks to his own…

I never heard them ask a white man 

What about the other races?

Have you noticed?

So defendin black people 

Is a wrongdoin to the world 

Which is to say 

It’s wrong to systemic racism….

To the eyes of the oppression 

It’s ok to treat us like shit..

Black people treats other black people

Like shit for a buck

and the fact they’re already programmed 

To hate themselves….

There’s no paycheck for positivity on black 

Community….

I don’t like that truth either 

But it’s the role of capitalism….

When you try to defend 

Black people,

They call you racist….

But you know what in a way 

You are 

In a good way 

Cos you’re standin on business 

With your own people….

You’re givin us a voice

It’s why it’s an issue for white supremacy 

For them unity is a threat 

They have to put a stop 

To it….

Basically you are not allowed to be a racist 

For your people…

Think about it….

Even if they don’t listen 

Even if they don’t take it seriously 

Even if they back away in fear 

Even if they laugh like it’s a joke or somethin
