Do you have to call a woman 

Barren?

Do you really have to?

What if it’s not her, 

Maybe it’s a man’s issue?

But today’s society 

We can’t put that on men…

We got ourselves believin 

Men ain’t the problem…

Somehow 

Their pride pushes that harsh truth 

To the side 

So is guilt….

They chose their sidechicks 

Makin them believe their babies 

Are theirs…

Another crazy part

Is those mothers 

Boy moms

Invade their sons’ marriages 

Tellin their wives you can’t bare 

My son a child…you are no good 

And the husbands don’t say shit…

This is where 

You fumble a great woman 

Cos she has sacrificed for you 

She has built with you 

How you pay her is 

Humiliation rituals….

And when she’s gone for good, 

You’ll come back when it’s too late…

And you see 

She’s not barren 

She has babies with 

Her new husband who respects her…

You found out 

That the other woman 

Was fuckin another man 

And has his baby…

It’s not yours….

The issue was you

All along….

It’s not always the woman….

Sometimes it’s the man

Patriarchy plays too many roles 

In these situations all the time….

There’s shame when you found out 

You’re not the father 

Yet you knew you had an 

Issue…nobody’s barren…

Barren is an unkind word….

Men with their legacy 

Men with wantin sons 

Y’all must need to be honest 

With yourselves….

If yall can’t produce 

And it hurts so bad 

Would y’all go to therapy 

Before ego ruins things?

Y’all can adopt

Or In your minds 

Children has to have my bloodline?

Also, would you take care of 

Your kids?

Cos 

If y’all  let that ego 

Ruins your marriages,

For your lifetimes,

Y’all would say 

“I shouldn’t let 

That wonderful woman go….

I should have adopted 

I should have been 

A good husband…

I’m extremely lonely 

I’m divorced 

No woman is like her 

I even let my mom be involved 

Now 

She left me 

Married another man 

Have beautiful babies 

She’s not the problem 

I realized i am…

She cut me off

This is my consequences…”

Y’all live somewhere 

Someplaces in the dark 

Thinkin about your ex wives

So called “barren”

It’s what y’all get 

For lettin your whole damn pride 

Gets in the way…..

A voice 

A voice warned you 

But your stubbornness 

Said shut the fuck up…

And it leads you to 

This uncomfortable solitude….

Again, 

Honest question…

Would y’all go to therapy 

Before ego gets the best of you?

Before you find out the sidechick lie?

Y’all can’t be restless….

Y’all can’t blame the wife….

Y’all gotta be mature about it 

And y’all have the right to feel the way….

However y’all don’t need to get 

Someone be all in your head with the foolishness…

Y’all don’t need to follow patriarchal society 

Also y’all gotta accept it or not

But y’all don’t need to blame the women…

Y’all don’t need to break your own homes 

Cos y’all can’t reproduce….

That’s unhealthy….

If this really bothers y’all,

Do somethin different 

Like volunteerin 

Children centers 

Or go find a group of men who are in the 

Same situation…

Somethin 

Maybe it might heal 

Y’all on the inside…

Y’all can do that before 

Y’all break your wives’ hearts….
