Words of souls 

Spill out of our vessels….

We turn into magic 

Powerful as we want to….

All we have to do 

Is to pull our readers’ heartstrings 

Tug them for a while….

Some may not pay attention 

Some may not like the mirror….

It’s okay we’re entitled to ignore the message 

Til it’s too late….

Let’s write a poem, 

Let’s the truth drop from our inks….

Pages hold everythin we carry throughout 

Our lives…without rhyme….

We bring the flow

Bring out the vibe…

It’s our job to get people 

Fall inside our tune..

It doesn’t have to be music…

It could be on the mic spoken

While the audience’s imagination dances 

Like it means somethin….

We’re poets 

We’re not just metaphors…

We make people’s emotions runs high 

As blood pressure….

Oh let’s write a poem 

For our sake…

The world still needs our tongue 

Our voice, even some chose not to listen
