Tap dancin

I don’t wanna

Tap dancin for white folks

My voice doesn’t belong to

Them, it’s mine…if I ever do,

I would disrespect myself

And my people….I would have

So much value for my self hate

To the highest bid….cos I’m not their

Monkey…I’m not their comfort

Actually I should be their enemy

With all the poems that expose their

Violence….I’m not tap dancin

For them to be uncomfortable….

If they read my words and get offended,

I know they will never look in the mirror

They will tell me

Racism is over, racism has left every home

Tell me I shouldn’t be writin this

Cos my heart is too sweet….

They will tell me it’s hate

However I’m doin my job

I’m getting under their skin…

I bring white guilt and white fragility

Comes to life

Comes in public display

and I have a scenario in my head

Right?

If a white person would read

These harsh truths about whiteness

Would he or she stop me

From self publishin a book about

Their envy for black people

Only cos there are  white people

Who still think they’re superior

And not face their own reflection of

Their aggression….it’s where token

Black friends come in, and they will

always put a stop on woke movement

By tap dancin…they gave black voices

To white supremacy…they’re not

Dangerous…. They might stop me

Tellin me to be quiet….keep it to yourself

Right? And we see it everywhere

Tap dancin, instead of

Being danger, it will always reminds

Us we’re still black…

The whole thing is annoyin….

Wait till the coons has wake up

Call…and then what?

They always talk down on

Their community….talkin down

On themselves, too only for a

White man to be at ease….

He said he go to nonviolence route

On black movements

But his race went chaotic, abusin

Everybody but we have to be kind

And gentle to them….I wanna

Know, what kind of tap dancin is this?

“Don’t fight back

Just entertain us

Deal with it

Let us bully y’all

Tap dance so we can be

Comfortable

Say skin color doesn’t matter

Racism is so long ago

Or if you don’t do what I say

I orchestrate somethin to make you

Shut the fuck up…that’s a death threat.”

In the stern voices of white folks…

Sayin you better entertain me or else….

And whether you stand on business

Or you fold yourself like a coward

Still askin for a white validation….

Cos you be tap dancin forever

On stage….

Am I lyin?

It happens in real life

Especially big industries

Do you know what breaks me

The most is when white folks

Force you to apologize to them

For speakin the truth…

Years later

You’re right the whole time…

And this is the tap dancin

I get so pissed off about

Yet I understand the fear

Fear of them killin you

If you decide to be bold

To sacrifice for your people

And not be afraid

I will always respect you….

However if you choose to kiss

White folks ass and get the bag

By all means

You do you….

Righteous black leaders

Never tap dance

For white people…

They won’t stay in line

So white folks killed them

To me

It keeps modern enslavement

Goin unfortunately….

Honestly

We don’t know

Real life liberation

Looks like when we’re out of

White people’s grasps….

We never have lived in a land

Where there’s no white supremacy around

The system is everywhere….

Those mindsets of black people

Can’t even breathe…cos

Those mental European foots

Are still on their necks….

And

Still continue to tap dancing

Even white folks are going to extinct

They will always be

Tap dancin for them…

It’s so sad..💯✊🏿©️ Kai C. 11-18-25
