Should we give white folks some grace?

Cos black people are human 

Look at a black man 

Look at a black woman

Look at a black child 

But not in this world 

Only white folks are human….

Only white folks can be more human

The world ignores our tears

With so much anger that creates 

Wrinkles upon our faces….

We trained to shush and smile 

Nothin happened….

There are self hated black people

Who hold disrespect like trophies….

Self hated black people believe in their minds 

They ain’t human…

They think of themselves as monkeys and niggers

Not knowin the full story of our past….

Slave mentality is real

Trauma is in our faces

When are they goin to have a wake up call?

Cos white people judge black skin 

That melanin 

They want it

And we judge them by their violence 

By their envy

By their hate

White folks know we’re humans 

But still dehumanizin us on purpose…

Why do you think white supremacy exists?

They boss us around 

Tellin us not to feel 

Hold our heartache in our bones

This is why our anger should be pointin at racism….

It’s unforgivable 

It shouldn’t be given grace….
