I’m goin 

To write poems 

About 

How awful white people 

Are, callin them 

Woodpecker 

And crackers 

And colonizers 

And blame it on my arthrogryposis….

Yes I’m goin 

To blame it on 

My disability and not give two 

Shits about their feelings…

I don’t care 

If I’m cruel 

Cos upon this planet 

Upon this society 

Whiteness is deeply center….

And they know it…..

They center whiteness 

For years and don’t tell me 

To think about it first 

For a second…don’t say 

Am I sure? 

White folks never question 

Never get checked 

When they put their wickedness 

Upon black people….

Remember they created a system of 

Wickedness against us…

It was taught….

It was their invention 

So 

In order for me 

Make my escape 

And make my beautiful excuses 

For my handicap….

For being in my motorized wheelchair…

I will expose their all kinds of violence in metaphors 

And simply blame it on my special needs….

I knew better 

Not to blame on 

What I have, however

Has disguised himself 

Behind his tics 

And double down his sorry

Well he hasn’t apologized 

For real…

Am I doin it any better?

Well let me give you a perspective

Disable or not 

Black people are damn exhausted….

However racism is harmful 

Disability is not a excusable

Respect and principle…

It should hold spaces 

For race and disability in the same 

They coexist yet

That’s what people want….

Yet the white folks didn’t act like we are the world…

They still act like whiteness still center 

This time they blame a syndrome…

And not be apologetic….

Not a human decency….

As I said

Never see black people as humans….

We see this again and again….

I’m goin to do the same thing 

Blame my disability for exposin white 

People bad behaviors like colonialism 

And violence…. And I will double down my 

Apologies….In fact I can be the mirror 

Of their own character reflectin right back 

At them without a second thought….without 

Feelin like I went too far with this…

White folks went far beyond the universe 

With their racism, with their entitlement 

With their privilege…they never considered 

Nonwhites as humanness….

Just them…..

And black people 

Should do the same thing 

Without fear…with second thoughts 

We can blame somethin 

Anythin 

We can hide our disability like a wuss 

The way they did and never apologized 

Cos we black….

It’s an idea if they want to play that game 

We can, too….

After all 

We’re at war…..
