I’m startin to believe in ghosts
For some reason….
Every time someone kills their loved ones
Or a friend or a lover
They get away….death turns victims into ghosts
With grudges and unfinished business…
They follow their killers everywhere they go
In dreams…In their corners
Some confess their sins on deathbed
Cos they see ghosts, angry faces glarin deeply
Into souls…apologies never count
Cos wicked people make choices…
It’s not a mistake….
I’m startin to believe in ghosts,
Ghosts who suffer in the hands of real life monsters…
They want to be free…
They roam around
Generations saw them
Especially their ancestors visited in kids’ rooms
Watchin over them….
Spirits tell stories
Spirits kept to themselves…
Whenever I hear a wrongdoin
A crime
Someone murdered someone
I can’t blame the victims
Especially the old towns like lake Lanier
Black town haunted underwater
And black souls are so mad to the point
They wanna beat the shit out of white America….
They can’t move on…blood on colonizers’ hands…
Not really sorry from the heart….
Cos
I’m startin to believe in ghosts…
I can’t be mad at them
I’m not scared…
Righteous anger between fingertips
They have ever right to give these killers
Sufferin…it’s their exact karma….
I’m sure the ghost of Trayvon martin
Follows George Zimmerman everywhere he goes…
Consequences goin left and right…
He was never forgiven….
Do you believe in ghosts?
Ghosts fight back
Ghosts who want vengeance and justice
For the right reason….
Why do you think?
Ancestors haunted people in the
Nursery homes..those stories are fascinatin….
Spiritual reparations….
I’m startin to believe in ghosts
If someone kills me on purpose,
I would haunt them too…
Even if you have holy water
Or crystal beads to stop their stalkin…
The guilt will always be loud and clear….
You can hide yourself all you want
But the cruelty is there….
