 One of our conditions…

I have observed and witnessed 

That black people give grace 

To white folks after they harmed us…

We were trained to give our enemies grace 

But not us, have you noticed?

It’s part of our anti blackness towards our 

Own race and ourselves…

That’s the problem….

When it comes to white folks and other races

We open our arms and hug them tightly….

It’s that mentality…..that sickness 

We have, we don’t mention a word about it 

Among ourselves….we truly love everybody 

Except ourselves….so I wanna practice 

Grace towards black people, my people 

Whatever it may look like….we’re not suppose

To hate one another, not disrespect each other 

Cos you know why?

Our enemy white supremacy created wars 

In our communities….their tactic is to fight 

And be violent against each other…to me,

It’s another genocide…they have us doin 

All the massive destruction among one another 

While they watched and laughed behind closed doors 

But we give them grace….

We give them mercy 

Cos god told us to…..

When it comes to us

We say no grace 

Not even to ourselves….

I don’t wanna sound so negative 

About it….I would like to point out 

The cold truth….
