Your daughter
Your daughter
is watchin
you as a father
Who doesn’t love
Her mother….
She picked up cues
Taken notes in her innocent brain
When she grows up
To stop this cycle of men in her family
Who don’t love their wives
Or perhaps she will find a man
Who breaks her heart constantly…
Don’t let her heartbreak be
Your karma, be your consequence
Cos deep down
You never want a boy to hurt your little girl…
No fathers want to see their baby girls cry
Cos of that stupid boy…..
And for her mother,
She watched her endurances
Like a bad film
But over time she had enough
Her mama with full wisdom
She had shown her
That it’s okay to walk away from a man
Who devalued her
She showed her you need to know your worth
And love yourself….
She discussed that with a princess who is about to
Be her empress….
Her child her little girl
She said guard your heart
Don’t rush….
Ah,
Your daughter
Must listen carefully
Wisdom is so important
Love can blind everybody
Not every guy is smooth and charmin….
Even Hollywood romantic films
Will tell you that sometimes…
Don’t be dumb
You’re still young
you’re somebody’s daughter
Your mom and dad wants the best for you….
Make good decisions
Enjoy life
But please
Be cautious
When you fall for a man….
You just never know
Who he really is….
He might act like a father
Who actually normalizes peace….
A kind man who genuinely loves you, too…
