I don’t understand 

Why people are 

Actin like we can’t be 

Sexual beings 

Or we’re not sexual 

Cos of how we look 

And the way we look 

Just cos we’re in wheelchairs 

Or have walkers 

Doesn’t mean we can’t fuck….

Our deformities 

Have never stop us 

From gettin our cheeks clapped….

There are still people 

Who thinks this way….

Some may not understand 

The whole situation 

However 

They are human 

They do get horny…..

Friends or families 

Even caregivers 

Have to explain 

How to protect their bodies 

And the risks 

We’re just like everybody else….

I heard people 

Asked an ableist question 

Can you have sex?

Cos of physical 

Everybody can fuck

Everybody can make love

Yes people with disabilities 

Can have children, too….

I don’t get why 

There’s a myth like that 

People with disabilities 

Can’t have sex

People with disabilities 

Don’t feel anythin

Why do we have to be treated 

As infants?

We’re adults 

Other adults encourage other 

Adults to act grown….

It’s human 

To feel wanted 

To feel desirable 

To crave for someone 

To fall in love

Watch porn….

May be aware 

Or may not be 

Aware of inappropriation 

There are staffs around 

To care 

To look after

Even though 

They’re grown ups….

We do have sex

We do get told to wait for the 

Right person to come along….

Real love comes first….

Real love comes with deep connection 

Comes with passion and understandin…

Comes patience….

We’re told to make sure you’re really ready….

Sex is not everythin…

Intimacy is important….

We’re humans 

We feel things 

We want things 

We love hard 

Some fuck hard and fast 

Don’t feel ashamed 

Of thinkin about sex

Of wantin to fuck 

Nothin wrong with that….

Don’t let anybody say 

You can’t sleep with someone 

Cos of your special needs….
