That has been black people’s condition….

It has been that for decades 

Since 400 years or so…

After killings 

After slaughters 

After rapings 

Black people still forgive….

It bothers me, 

Why do we have to be a bigger person 

When we can hold these motherfuckers accountable?

Why do we have to hug these wicked racists?

Why do we have to listen to what Jesus says?

You know Jesus is what white folks gave us….

Look at our bleach white minds….

Look at how we became way too kind 

Way too compassionate to a white man

Who wants to genocide us….

Forgiveness is a sickness….

I won’t apologize for sayin this 

It’s the truth….

This is why black mental health 

Needs to be talked about out loud 

Our trauma needs to be addressed…

Cos slavery and colonialism has fucked our 

Minds up so is our souls…

Please study our history 

Go read how atrocities affect our brains constantly 

And how our dna carries ancestral pain….

I think it’s way of healin….

As a black race, 

We need to do a lot of self care 

For us….for each other…

We must learn dignity and respect 

For ourselves….

Cos forgiveness is weakenin our spines….

I think we were trained to listen to our hearts 

Way too much instead of our wisdom….

That’s the issue….racism is no accident…

Racism is done on purpose….

Oppression has us thinkin we’re not humans…

Does this sound like a mistake?

Not really….

Black people shouldn’t forgive 

White supremacy….black people 

Should have destroyed the system completely 

And mental illnesses has stopped us 

People stopped us….

Religion has stopped us….
