It’s nice to hear a poet this mornin….

Smooth, flow….

A voice makes the room so calm…

I was listenin to Sara Kay this mornin,

Instead of music…

I thought poetry was a good idea to listen

To….while I waited for my breakfast and played

Disney solitaire….

She was on YouTube….she tells stories….

I tuned out….some people listen to spoken word

In the mornin while drinkin coffee….poems are like instruments

But with voice and emotion….people feel things through words…

Sometimes souls capture motivation, hearts go fallin in love..

Maybe people need to hear a poet in the mornin…

In their background without piano or a drum…

Maybe silence is the noise, and a voice can cure

Somebody’s heartbreak like medicine….

Maybe somebody needs a poet for a while….

Poet who doesn’t have to sing, but it breathes your bones

To life….after all the world forgets that poets are guardian

Angels who helps us to see the truth we don’t wanna see

But we have to….it’s why i never take poets for granted

Cos well I’m a poet, too…and also poets are just messengers

Who rhymes and don’t rhyme, who raps and don’t rap, and who

Write and don’t write….

We’re more than metaphors…..we’re doing our best to get our

Lines across…it’s our job….to help people to express themselves

When they feel empty on their tongue….

So appreciate a poet, any poet and poem that tightens your heartstrings…..
