Would you feel the need to wrap your arms around a racist?

A jealous person…

Knowin he or she wants your black skin badly…

A racist doesn’t need a compassion 

Doesn’t need love 

Racist wants your melanin 

Racist wants your humanness 

I never really understand many black people don’t get it…

Maybe cos they believe Jesus said do the right thing….

It’s to give them love, give them their golden hearts 

Racists take an advantage of that

They use it against them….

It’s why I don’t accept forgiveness….

Cos we’re in a condition where we forgive white supremacy 

After they slaughtered us a billion times….

That mindset is too sick, 

I don’t know how to cure it…

Say you don’t hug a racist

Yet you said you’re a Christian…

And Christians are supposed to follow Christ….

But you don’t give love the same love to your own people….

Not yourself 

Your forgiveness belongs to the white man….

You give him a big hug and say I love you….

That mentality came from slavery…

From colonialism….

Do you know it’s a trauma response?

It’s like you keep feedin your wounds….

Your scars keep growin

You may not agree 

You may tell somebody I don’t know what I’m talkin about…

There’s no argument….

You said god…

I said conditioned 

I said episgenetics 

I said historical abuse…

It’s been passed down for generations…

It does have somethin to do with religion 

Cos religion is a control….

You might give me a look 

A look of hurt 

A look of disbelief 

You might tell me keep all that to myself 

You never wanna hear that black power talk 

I can respect..

I’m just sayin to be careful 

With your dignity 

And your respect 

Racists will gaslight you 

Manipulate you 

To erase your light….

That’s what they do

They destroy your light 

They will get you to dim your shine yourself….

Please don’t hug a racist 

He or she doesn’t deserve it….

Don’t fall for their damn tears….

If you do give your enemy a hug,

It will become pattern 

I mean you may forgive and not forget…

I wouldn’t forgive cos

You’re givin your energy away to them….

You may forgive them for you 

I just can’t trust them….

You can say I’m a peacemaker 

And I’m all about the love

But I don’t wanna be convince to give a racist a hug 

It’s uncomfortable…

Feels like a humiliation ritual 

Feels like that whiteness has won all over again….

Black people need to stop forgivin  

White supremacy 

Stop givin their violence a pass

They know they did it intentionally…

They forced us to forgive them like they had no choice…

And we do….

We don’t have to give racists a hug

We don’t have to be “a better big person”

For decades 

The system keeps harmin us 

They still harm us…

I’m pointin out the psychosis we’re in as a people…

The kind of psychosis is where we continue to accept 

Fake apologies and give our enemies lots of love 

Sayin we shall overcome…

Like we become Martin Luther King jr. In the moment 

Prayin 

Tellin everybody skin color doesn’t matter….

You know color blindness society 

But In the real world 

White supremacy is still alive 

Oppressers doesn’t give a damn about 

The speech, 

The humanity 

Do you really think they give a fuck?

They don’t…

Cos of god 

He said give him or her a hug 

Like amber Gruyer who killed a black man in his apartment 

His family member gave her a hug 

In the courtroom 

Forgivin 

Being compassionate 

Honestly 

It’s weak for black people….

Instead of whoopin as we should 

We forgive 

Too quickly 

Sayin it’s ok you made a mistake 

You wipe racist’s make believe tears…

I bet it’s all part of an agenda,

Part of white power structures…

I hope you know why I said what I said 

Why would I ask?

Why would you wanna hug a racist?

You thought in your heart 

It’s the right thing to do 

You believe it’s the right choice 

To change a white supremacist’s heart 

Erase that narrative of hate off that mind….

You say you can tell a racist 

Black people are not that bad 

In your softer tone…

I can’t tell you what to do 

I’m goin to say 

Be cautious 

And wise….

I did say 

Don’t hug a racist 

But you’re going to do whatever you want….

That’s your business…
