i was here

i was here
at my new computer
with this morning light glances in my bedroom
oh the cars are rushing by
its sunday and i'm already to finish my poetry book
yet the house rings and the dogs go barking

tomorrow its the first day of spring
the tree at my window
has begin to bloom
the crimson leaves are coming out of its branches
don't know about the other trees
but i know for sure
its only 8:54am and
i'm just typing along the blank page
of words that i only could fit into this one poem
like what comes to mind

vibrating sound of a voice
speaks silently
only i could hear it

that voice came from my own heart
it enters my brain
and suddenly i'm creating an image or a sentence which
i'm feeling the power of writing a beautiful verse of wisdom

ah i was here
continuing to be a lovely poet

Yeah. I love it the way poetry sometimes comes.

So sorry for all the same messages. Guess I held down the enter key too long. I deleted 2 of the 20 but keep having to log in to blogger to do each one. Please delete them if you like. But do keep up the writing, and thanks for visiting my blog.

A very poignant visceral read, Kai. There's a longing in all of us to escape into that world we create - it offers us hope, control and manipulation of our domain; qualities irresistible to the human condition trapped within our embodied souls.
