Stolen Legacy poem
Greeks are copycats…
They are….
They stole Egyptian philosophy
And mysteries..
Oh did I mention they burned
The libraries?
And who killed this author?
George G. M. James?
He wrote the book…
I'm not sure how he passed…
It sounds suspicious
Cos maybe just maybe I got
A theory
That this book had strike a
White man's nerve…
And this black man was told
Not to write
Not to publish
The truth…
Somehow it was the same year as
The stolen legacy was out
The same ol year he passed…
Nobody knew he died
I had a feelin
That he died cos of the book…
It's possible
Not only that
It was Jim Crow era…
