Taught her daughter
To walk away from a man
Who doesn’t value her anymore…
She never teaches her
To endure disrespect…
She never tells her daughter
To shrink herself for a man
For anybody at all….
Daughter watches her mama
Cry but she got herself back up
Rebuild and heal…that’s the lesson
For a daughter to learn not just in
Relationships but in life as well….
Peace and wisdom
That her little girl takes notes from….
I’m positive that a real mother
Never wants her to experience
Heartbreak from a boy, it’s goin
To happen….
Heartbreaks are unexpected routines
For everybody….and mom knows when her
Baby is sad, she will open up to talk…
Sometimes she sits in silence….
A real mother shows and advice
To guard your heart before you fall faster
Before you say you’re in love
She said get to know someone first…
Be a friend first….
A real mother told her daughter
She deserves better….
She’ll admit she doesn’t like that guy
At all….
You know her intuition never lies
About the people you hang out…
It feels like you have to trust on this one
Even though your naive mind won’t accept it…
It’s not always like that
However a real mother can guide you
to make your own decisions….
Whether bad or good
She will warn you of the consequences….

Will tell the truth
She doesn’t hold back…
She will tell her experiences
She doesn’t want her daughter to make
The same mistakes she made…
She wants her to break the generational curses
Tearin every traumatic cycle up….
A Real mother
Doesn’t wanna bring toxic
To her own family tree….
She wants her baby girl to be
A healthy human soul…
She did the best she can
And her daughter is truly grateful
For all the lessons that her mom has taught
Her….her daughter will pass those lessons
Down to her own daughter….

She might have a girl…
Her daughter will teach her
Her worth….
