Scrabble

This white man 

Got upset 

Cos I won

Fair and square…

He talked trash 

Cos he was mad….

It didn’t occur to 

Me at the time when white people

Should be winnin at all times 

Even if they lose 

They will always win a championship 

That’s how the system works…

Now when a black person 

Wins, it’s time to change the rules…

A black person can never win…

Only a white person….

You see that in sports…

I saw a video of 

Chris rock sayin 

His dad told him 

You can’t beat a white man 

Or a white person

And if you do,

Judges said white player won

He lost…….

They’re sayin

Black people should be losers 

At all times 

Even when they outsmarted the oppressors

They won without cheatin…

Remember to the society, 

Black people are not supposed to be intelligent?

They’re supposed to be slow

Well, black excellence is too real they can’t handle…

And this is why I posted 

White supremacy is a jealous system….

They’re jealous of how we move 

Of how we use our brains….

I thought about 

That white man 

He was a competitor 

And he was upset 

That I beat him….

Maybe it wasn’t about 

Race at the moment 

When we played scrabble….

But I played my tiles right….

Maybe 

He has never lost to a 

Black woman before….

I can’t say….

I think back to the day 

Way before covid…

I felt like he made a competition 

Big deal…his pride was hurt…

Cos come to think of it, 

Whiteness taught him 

That white people should always win

Cos of their “superiority complex”

That’s how I see 

It….

And the video reminds me 

Of him…..

And he was jealous….

Cos he doesn’t like to lose….

Especially to lose to a black woman…

And he did apologized 

And I forgave him 

For talkin trash…

He never called me slurs…

He doesn’t like losin

Maybe I put too much 

Of my opinion into it 

Or maybe it’s the flashback 

That got me critical thinkin….

I’m not sayin 

Don’t beat a white person

I will say observe 

Recognize the envy

Study how racism favors white people…

It does happen in games and sports….
