The biggest heart

 

Black people 

Has the biggest heart 

Has the golden heart 

For white folks…

They’re trained to be softer 

Extra softer for these demons 

It’s true….

I could call it historical softness 

Another trauma response that stems 

From slavery….

And it’s why  white folks manipulate 

Kindness and forgiveness 

As tactics to weaken black spines….

I get annoyed to see 

My people being so sweet 

After they called us niggers….

I must give a riverboat Montgomery brawl 

Just to remind us that we whoop their ass right back….

But it won’t work…

Cos many of them are so lost 

Our niceness written on the wall 

We learn to be kind and humble 

Be a bigger person 

However, 

Black people do defend themselves 

They slap a devil out and the devil trip over….

We need that energy if necessary…

We need to stop being so soft 

Stop being weak, stop being kind 

We can’t let white folks 

Walk over us anymore 

Like they still own us…

We’re not motherfuckin slaves 

And they remember Slavery 

They still want it 

But got the nerve to say get over it….

They wanna remember or wanna know 

How it feels like a massa….

With that thinkin in their mind 

We should have drop kick their asses 

Back to the caves….

If you think I’m cruel,

I don’t give a damn….

It’s the truth…

I’m not sorry 

I’m not goin to change my mind 

And switch up my words in poetic facts 

Just to make those Neanderthals feel comfortable…

I have them sit and look in the mirror 

And see their so called “superior” character 

Cos I’m tellin you now

White folks throws racism 

In black people’s faces 

All the time…

And we don’t need act of kindness 

Towards them, we should be givin them 

The same energy….what you’re not goin to do 

Is to be disrespectful…if you wanna be violent 

We could be violent, too…

Somehow slave mentality kicks in, 

We become soft and apologetic 

Givin the enemy a hug….

It’s not good…

Especially with the Christianity involvement 

That plays a role…

Black people are sick

We sick

I’m not a doctor 

I don’t diagnose us 

I just recognize the conditions  

That we have as a black race….

One of them is that 

We’re so extremely carin 

For white people too much 

Instead of being compassionate 

Towards one another….

Systematic racism 

Did that to us….
